Our story
In the late nineties, Managing Director Michael Conti made several trips to Denmark to analyze a solution he felt would be the next big thing in Enterprise Resource Planning. He was right. This solution, then called Axapta by a company named Damgaard was soon released to the American market. All of those international airfares paid off in March 1998 when the first version of Axapta 1.0 was released to the U.S. Clients First commenced its first Axapta implementation shortly after in 1999 with RAM Aircraft, who is still a client today. With Y2K right around the corner, Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (formerly AX) wasn’t the last implementation commenced that year. Click Here for a full history of AX/AXAPTA Milestones
However, this isn’t a history of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (formerly AX). This is a history of how Clients First Business Solutions leveraged Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations to meet business needs. With a composition of team members that had a history in maintenance, repair & overhaul as well as manufacturing, Clients First was able to manipulate the inherent Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations functionality to meet the needs of these firms. This previous experience not only allowed the team to develop specific intellectual property (IP) for these industries, but also allowed them to become trusted technology advisors.
What helped Clients First find success in utilizing Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations was not just our previous industry experience or technical skills, but passion for new technology, efficiencies and the industries we serve.
